This book presents a history of a less known Dochen Kagyu school (sub-branch of Drukpa Kagyu), also called Madunpa’s Tradition, written by Dakarwa Chokyi Wangchuk. It was translated and introduced in a rather academic style by Prof. Dr. Franz-Karl Ehrhard, who has agreed that it would be republished by Tsum Research Group as a part of their project – a collection of texts presenting the history of Tibetan religion and culture on the current territory of Nepal.
