This book compiles the contents of the teaching on the Heart Sutra offered by the Seventeenth Gyalwang Karmapa in Chinese to a Chinese speaking audience in New Delhi, in August 2016. First published in Chinese it has now been translated into English by Jamyang Woser. It features two versions of the sutra found in the Chinese canon as well as the Karmapa’s commentary.

His Holiness skillfully interweaves historical and philosophical perspectives with his own experience and heart advice, making this book valuable reading for study and practice.
